The footer is the bottom-most section of your store. Use the footer to share a short description of your store and add additional navigation menus that help customers quickly find out more information about what you do.

On mobile devices, the footer takes up much more vertical space and can take up an entire screen::

Configure the footer

STEPS
  1. From your Customize theme editor, select the Footer section.

  2. Check the Show newsletter signup setting to enable a clean form block where customers can subscribe to your newsletter.

Newsletter subscribers are added to your "accepts marketing" Shopify list. You can learn more about how to manage Shopify customer emails from their and article.

Note that the Popup feature and Newsletter section also include newsletter signup blocks, so you might want to check those out, too.

  3. Show language selector and Show currency selector checkboxes to enable these special footer features.

You can learn more about offering your store in multiple languages by reading Shopify's guide.

You can learn more about offering your store with multiple currencies from Shopify's documentation.

  4. Check the Show payment types checkbox to display icons for each payment method your store accepts.

  5. Return to the list of home page sections and click the arrow beside the Footer section to edit the footer content. markdown:shopify-footer-content.md

  6. Add up to four footer content areas using the Add block button.
