Featured collection

The Featured collection section displays a gallery of products from a selected collection with the heading above. You can add this section to your home page, collection pages, or product pages.

The Featured collection section can be used on the following page templates:

• Home page template

• Collection pages template

• Product pages template

Add a Featured collection section to the home page

You can add a Featured collection section to the home page.

To set up a featured collection:

STEPS

1. From your Customize theme editor, choose Home page from the pages drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the home page sections and choose Add section.

3. Choose Featured collection from the list of sections.

   This opens the Featured collection settings.

4. Use the Select Collection button to choose from your store's list of collections.

5. Use the Columns slider to set how many products should display in a row at one time.

6. Change the Heading text.

   The heading text appears on the left, at the beginning of the gallery.

7. (Optional.) Add Subheading text.

8. Use the Link text field to add a button that links to the collection.

9. Return to the list of Home page sections. Use the drag handles to rearrange the order of the sections:

10. Click Save.

Add a Featured collection section to other pages

You can add a Featured collection section to your Collection pages and Product pages templates.

To enable a Featured collection on these pages:

STEPS

1. From your Customize theme editor, choose Collections or Products from the pages drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

2. Click on the arrow beside Collection features or Product features.

3. Use the Add block button to select Featured collection.

   This opens the Featured collection section settings.

4. Use the Select Collection button to select one from your store's list of collections.

5. Change the number of Columns to display between 2 and 4.

6. Change the Heading text.

7. (Optional.) Add Subheading text.

8. Use the Button label field to add a button that links to the collection.

9. Return to the list of Product or Collection features. Use the drag handles to rearrange the order of the blocks:

10. Click Save.

The Featured collection section has the following settings:

Collection

Select a collection from your store's existing collections.

Columns

Choose between 2, 3, or 4 columns to display at one time.

Heading

Add heading text.

We recommend a title of just a few words long.

Subheading

Add subheading text.

Use the formatting buttons to add bold, italic, and linked text.

Link Text or Button Label

Add a short call-to-action text to create a button that links to the collection.

Max width of text

Control the width of the subheading text.

Image aspect ratio

Choose to display your product images as Square, Landscape, or Portrait.

The default Natural setting will display the original orientation of your images.

Use alternate selection color

Set the background color to the Alternate Section Color as chosen in your Color Settings.
