Testimonials

The Testimonials section lets you feature quotes from customers. You can personalize each testimonial quote with an optional profile picture.

This section can be used on the following page templates:

• Home page template

• Collection pages template

• Product pages template

Add a Testimonials section on the home page

To set up the Testimonials section:

STEPS

1. From your Customize theme editor, choose Home page from the pages drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the home page sections and choose Add section.

3. Choose Testimonials from the list of sections.

   This opens the Testimonials section settings.

4. Add a Heading and Subheading.

5. Set the Text alignment to Left or Center.

6. Return to the list of Home page sections to find your new XYZ section.

   Use the drag handles to rearrange the order of you Home page sections:

7. Use the Add Testimonial button to add a testimonial.

8. Click Save.

Add a Testimonials section to other pages

You can add a Testimonials section to your Collection pages and Product pages templates.

To enable a Testimonials section on these pages:

STEPS

1. From your Customize theme editor, choose Collections or Products from the pages drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

2. Click on the arrow beside Collection features or Product features.

3. Use the Add block button to select Testimonials.

   This opens the Testimonials section settings.

   You can add up to 4 testimonials.

4. Change the Columns per row between 2, 3, or 4.

5. Add Heading text.

   We recommend a title of just a few words long.

6. Add a Subheading.

   Use the formatting buttons to add bold, italic, and linked text.

7. Set the Text alignment to Left or Center.

8. Use the Max width of text slider to limit the maximum width of the text.

   You can control how the text looks by limiting how wide the paragraphs are displayed at a maximum.

9. Add Testimonial text and an Author.

10. Return to the list of Product or Collection features. Use the drag handles to rearrange the order of the blocks:

Settings reference

The following settings are available for the Testimonials sections:

Columns per row

Use the slider to choose how many testimonials should be displayed per row of testimonials. You can choose between 2 and 4 per row.

Heading

Change the heading displayed above the Testimonials section.

We recommend keeping this to just a few words long.

Subheading

Add a subheading.

Text alignment

Choose to display the heading and subheading as Left or Center aligned.

Max width of text

Control the width of the subheading text.

Use alternate selection color

Set the background color to the Alternate Section Color as chosen in your Color Settings.

Add testimonial

To add a new testimonial to your Testimonials section:

STEPS

1. Make sure you are already editing the Testimonials section that you want to change.

2. Use the Add testimonial button to add a new testimonial.

3. Change the Heading text for the testimonial.

4. Change the Testimonial text.

   Use the formatting buttons to add bold, italic, and linked text.

5. Add an Author.

6. Return to the list of Home page sections to find your Testimonials section.

7. Repeat this process until you've added all the testimonials you need.

8. You can change the order of the blocks by using the drag handles:

   You can also use the Remove block button to remove a testimonial from this section entirely.

9. Click Save.

Settings reference

Each testimonial has the following settings:

Heading

Add a heading text.

We recommend a heading no longer than a few words.

Testimonial

Add the quote text for the testimonial. This is a rich text box, so you can make parts of the text bold or italic. You can also add links to it.

Author

Add the name of the person being quoted.
